Our WAF provider has advised that additional time is needed to implement the required changes identified during our pre-implementation analysis. As a result, the implementation scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2026, has been postponed.
We will provide at least seven days’ notice before the implementation is rescheduled.

On Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 4:00 PM EDT, the Go DE Platform Team will enable Active Blocking within our RedShield Web Application Firewall (WAF) in the Production environment.
This security enhancement enables automated threat detection and blocking of suspicious requests instead of logging them only. The change applies to the Go DE website, School Pay, Hosted Forms, associated services, and all Go DE APIs.
No downtime is expected, and normal use of Go DE should continue without interruption.
In the unlikely event of a false positive, users or integrated applications may receive an HTTP 403 Forbidden (Access Denied) response generated by the WAF before the request reaches Go DE.
Organizations integrating with Go DE are encouraged to monitor their applications following this change. If you experience unexpected blocked requests, please contact the Go DE Platform Team with the approximate time, affected URL or API, and any available error details or request identifiers.
